Sociologists have a name for the spaces that are neither home nor work: the third place. For our community, it's the lounge.

It's the worn leather chair. The nod from the regular by the window. The unspoken agreement that here, at least, there is no hurry.

Belonging without obligation. You can talk, or you can just sit.
A shared language. Vitolas, wrappers, the slow theater of the cut and the light.
Time that expands. An hour here feels like three, in the best way.
