Start a Room
Open a live voice or podcast room in The Lounge, set who can join and how long it runs — or pull up a chair in someone else's.

Go to the rooms section
“Start a Room” in the left rail takes you to The Lounge and drops you at the “Live now” section, where every room currently running is listed.

Join a room that's already running
Each card shows the room name, its host and the live listener count. Tap “Join Room” to pull up a chair. Several rooms can run at once — they're all listed.

Tap “Start a Room” at the top right of the Live now section.

Fill in the short form
Five quick choices and you're open. Voice Room is mic-only, hold to talk; Podcast adds camera go-live controls and lets you upload video episodes once you're inside.
What you'll fill in
Start a Room
Room name — e.g. Friday Night HerfTopic (optional) — what are we smoking tonight?Type of room — Voice Room or PodcastAccess — Open or Invite onlyDuration — 30 minutes and up - 5
Hosting
Your room appears under Live now for everyone (or just your invitees). You can mute participants and close the room when you're done; the room also closes on its own when the duration runs out.
