Squared Away Wood Working

Welcome to Squared Away Wood Working LLC—where craftsmanship, purpose, and legacy meet. I’m Brian, a retired U.S. Army Veteran who turns quality lumber, meaningful stories, and bold ideas into handcrafted heirloom pieces. From custom Thor Hammers and military keepsakes to cigar accessories, plaques, cutting boards, and one-of-a-kind gifts, every project is built with pride, precision, and attention to detail. I don’t just build with wood—I try to turn memories into art that last.

Our Story

After I retired with nearly 24 years of service, the discipline, precision, and commitment to excellence developed throughout my military career, I needed an outlet and a way to cope with the stressors of combat. What began as a decompression outlet in woodworking and cigars grew into a passion: to transform meaningful stories, accomplishments, and memories into handcrafted pieces built to last. From signature Thor Hammers and military or fraternity keepsakes to plaques, cigar accessories, cutting boards, and one-of-a-kind gifts, every project is designed with purpose and made with pride.
